More than Network Attached Storage

As laptops become less end-user upgradable with soldered onboard components, consumers are either forced to deal to upgrade or accept subpar performance from their aging system. Leveraging the use of parallel processing and the cloud, the Core home server aims to improve performance for aging systems in a modern home.

Having used the same laptop for most of my work through out all four years of college, I often struggled with the limitations that the dual core system had. The components could not be removed and replaced, and I was stuck with the 4GB of RAM which usually limited me to having one intensive program open at a time. Not all programs take advantage of parallel or cloud processing, but Solidwork's and Keyshot can take advantage of it for render times.

Adjustable Safety Razor

A razor fine tuned just for you, without the cost

Custom spacers adjust the angle of the blades to allow
the user to customize the razor to their own specific hair
and skin type. A more aggressive angle for thicker hair,
or a more shallow angle for sensitive skin.

Prototyping

Multiple foam sketch models were made to quickly generate form, and then transferred into CAD. Using a FDM printer, I was able to quickly produce full scale, single use prototypes to test the proof of concept and ergonomics.
